Work Mobility Due-Diligence Checklist
Verify the opportunity, the parties and the payment structure before committing.
Verify the organization
Check legal identity, official domain, physical presence, authorized contacts and whether the party is acting as employer, recruiter or coordinator.
Confirm the role
Obtain the job title, location, duties, salary, hours, deductions, accommodation terms and contract duration in writing.
Map each responsibility
Identify who sources, interviews, employs, processes permits, provides regulated advice and coordinates relocation.
Control payment risk
Pay only against a written scope, verified invoice and stated milestone. Fees must not be described as payment for a job, permit or approval.
Watch the red flags
Guaranteed visas, rushed transfers, personal accounts, unverifiable employers, inconsistent contracts and refusal to provide documentation require escalation.
